The Apple Vision Pro hit the market in China on June 28, starting at a price of 29,999 yuan.
When Apple Vision Pro debuted, crowds of people signed up for demos. Many bloggers tried this device and shared their not-so-good experience.
Some people said the device was too heavy and the experience was poor and Some thought the device was too expensive. "Heavy on the head and heavy on the wallet". Some felt that the software ecosystem was not perfect and there were few use scenarios...
Add all these experiences together and the Vision Pro's staggering 29,999 price tag starts to become slightly less preposterous.
Since then, interest in Apple's premiere mixed reality headset has plummeted.
It's reported that Apple has suspended the development of the next generation of Apple Vision Pro and has turned its attention to a more affordable headset that will be released next year.
Will the Apple Vision Pro find its place in the market, or is it just a stepping stone to something greater? Only time will tell.
