According to CCTV Finance on February 6, Apple’s first head-mounted display device Vision Pro officially went on sale in the United States, quickly sparking a craze.

Many analysts believe that aside from the hardware technology, the most critical issue facing Vision Pro is the application. Currently, this device has very few native applications, and most of the applications are compatible versions of mobile or tablet applications, which are just flat windows floating in front of the user.

On the other hand, only a few days after Vision Pro officially went on sale, some dangerous application cases have emerged. One man turned on the autopilot mode while driving, and instead of controlling the steering wheel, he was operating an application in Vision Pro. The man was soon spotted and stopped by the police. In response to these issues, Apple urged users to use new technology rationally and always put safety first.

On the evening of January 19 local time, Apple’s first MR headset device Vision Pro opened for pre-order and sold out quickly.

According to the Securities Times on January 20, the Vision Pro reservation server was overwhelmed within 5 minutes of pre-order opening, and many people’s orders could not be processed. It was sold out 18 minutes after the pre-order opened. After 2 hours of pre-order opening, the delivery date had been postponed to March, and some even to April.

According to reports, despite the starting price of $3,499 (about 25,000 yuan), Vision Pro still attracted a lot of scalpers, and the price doubled three times, reaching 90,000 yuan.

High price has become the synonym of Vision Pro. Apple’s US official website shows that the 256G, 512G, and 1T Vision Pro are priced at $3,499 (about 25,000 yuan), $3,699 (about 26,600 yuan), and $3,899 (about 28,000 yuan) respectively. The Zeiss regular lens configuration requires an additional $99 (about 720 yuan), and the prescription lens requires $149 (about 1,066 yuan).
