CHENGDU, Dec. 29 (NBD) -- China's leading online travel service provider Tuniu (Tour, NASDAQ) lately released its financial results for the third quarter (Q3) of 2016.

According to the Q3 results, the company's net revenue is 4 billion yuan (575.56 million US dollars), with 35.7% growth year-on-year. It's noticed that the company is still in a mire of loss for 570 million yuan (about 82.02 million US dollars). 

Package tour service is still the backbone for Tuniu's income, but statistics covering air ticket and hotel sectors was not revealed in its Q3 financial results.
