The Chengdu Panda Asian Food Festival, a part of the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, kicks off on May 15 and will last until May 22. Chengdu is known as the UNESCO City of Gastronomy. Local citizens and travelers in the southwestern city can enjoy not only hot pot but also different dishes from different countries and regions at the festival.
