On the evening of March 27, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted on his personal Weibo account, announcing that the standard version of the Xiaomi SU7 electric vehicle has a CLTC-rated range of 700 kilometers. Despite high-speed scenarios being more power-intensive, the SU7 still performs exceptionally well. In a real-world test at a limited speed of 120 km/h with an average speed of 97.7 km/h, the standard version achieved an range of 495 kilometers.

Lei Jun had previously emphasized that range is a critical user experience factor for electric vehicles. From the project’s inception, he demanded that the entire SU7 lineup have long-range capabilities.

The standard version of the Xiaomi SU7 starts with an impressive 700 kilometers of range! Even with 19-inch wheels, the SU7 standard version surpasses the long-range version of the Tesla Model 3.

But that’s not all: the Xiaomi SU7 Max achieves an incredible 800 kilometers of range, making it the only domestic electric car to simultaneously achieve 2-second acceleration and 800 kilometers of range.

Industry-standard range measurements typically use the CLTC (Combined Light-Duty Test Cycle) conditions. While CLTC provides a standardized and professional evaluation of range capabilities, real-world driving habits and conditions vary significantly, leading to deviations from the CLTC-rated range.

The Xiaomi SU7 not only excels in CLTC-rated range but also performs exceptionally well in actual usage. In a challenging continuous high-speed scenario on a highway in Guangdong (with a maximum speed limit of 120 km/h), the SU7 standard version achieved a remarkable 495 kilometers of range. The average energy consumption was only 15 kWh/100 km, showcasing the SU7’s capabilities.

We’ve put tremendous effort into ensuring that the entire Xiaomi SU7 lineup delivers outstanding long-range performance. On March 28, we’ll provide more detailed information.

In related news, the Xiaomi SU7 is set to be officially unveiled at 7:00 PM on March 28, during which Lei Jun will announce its pricing.
