Tencent has become the majority shareholder of game live streaming platform Huya by acquiring the latter's shares with 262.6 million U.S. dollars from social media platform JOYY Inc, increasing its voting power in Huya to 50.1 percent.

It has increased its stake in e-commerce platform Pinduoduo, adding about 1.54 million ADSs for around 50 million U.S. dollars.
