An online training program has opened for college counselors nationwide, aiming to help them upskill and better guide students dealing with the coronavirus outbreak, China Education Daily reported Friday.

Organized by the Ministry of Education, full-time college counselors across the country will be fully covered by the 40-day training, with 150,000 expected to attend, the newspaper said.

The program gives full play to the advantages of Internet Plus training, featuring six sectors including ideological guidance, career planning and employment guidance, as well as epidemic prevention and control knowledge, according to the newspaper.
