Apple Executive Chairman Tim Cook revealed on Oct 15 that Apple Intelligence has been officially approved in China.

A beta version is scheduled for release later this month, featuring initial capabilities such as real-time translation, writing tools, and object removal in photos. Notably, AI-powered Siri features are not included in this initial rollout.

Cook also stated that the upcoming iPhone Duo foldable smartphone, scheduled to launch on October 23, will be manufactured entirely in Chinese factories.
