July 9 (NBD) -- Chinese real estate developer Gemdale Corporation (600383.SH) announced Saturday that building area sold in the first 6 months of the year aggregated 3.76 million square meters, up 0.13 percent year on year, with contracted sales at approximately 63.1 billion yuan (9.5 billion U.S. dollars), down 10.34 compared with the same period last year.
