June 13 (NBD) -- Chinese video game developer Perfect World Co Ltd (002624.SZ) said Tuesday two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries have signed an agreement with American entertainment and technology company Valve Corporation to work on the Chinese version of Steam. 

Valve Corporation's Steam is one of the world's largest digital distribution platforms on PCs, and has offered more than 20,000 games from different countries and regions to players worldwide.
