June 6 (NBD) -- Risesun Real Estate Development Co., Ltd (002146.SZ) signed contracts for buildings with a total area of 633,400 square meters equivalent to an amount of 6.765 billion yuan (1.1 billion U.S. dollars) in May, representing a year-on-year increase of 78.72 percent and 62.62 percent, respectively, the property developer said in an announcement on Wednesday.

In the first five months of 2018, the company inked contracts accumulatively worth 29.328 billion yuan (4.6 billion U.S. dollars) equivalent to a building area of around 2.86 million square meters, up 36.46 percent and 36.04 percent, respectively, when compared with the same period of the previous year.
