May 30 (NBD) -- Volkswagen Import Co., Ltd. announced that it will cut manufacture suggested retail prices for its entire product range, in response to China's tariff cut on imported cars. Volkswagen's flagship SUV Touareg, for example, will see a drop of up to 59,000 yuan (9,189 U.S. dollars) in price.

The company further noted that the vehicle purchase tax is likely to be reduced accordingly, which can bring more benefits to consumers.
