IBM and a division of China's Dalian Wanda Group, a property and entertainment conglomerate, agreed on Sunday to form partnership to provide cloud computing services for Chinese companies.

The newly formed venture, Wanda Cloud Company, will offer IBM cloud infrastructure, platform as a service (IaaS and PaaS), IBM Watson, block chain, Internet of Things and other premium technologies.

Enterprises eye the potentially huge market of cloud computing in China and foreign companies try to tap into this market through joint venture with Chinese companies.

Globally, Amazon, Sun, IBM, Microsoft, Alibaba have been establishing strategic layout on cloud computing for a long time.

Alibaba offers cloud computing services under the Aliyun brand at home and abroad.

Microsoft launches Azure in China via 21Vianet Group in 2013.

Amazon Web Services worked with several Chinese partners including China Net Center and Sinnet Technology.
