CHENGDU, Feb. 28 (NBD) -- This week will witness the market launch of eight new models. 

Of those, the all-new BMW 1 Series Sedan, new Buick GL8, and BYD Tang 100 and Qin 100 entered the market on Monday. 

The BMW Group's first premium compact sedan, the all-new 1 Series Sedan fills the German carmaker's void in the niche sector. It features a wheelbase of 2,670mm, outstripping the Audi A3.  

A performance car, the new Chevrolet Camaro RS, will hit the market on Tuesday. 

The Mazda CX-4 family will be broadened with the addition of an exploration version on Wednesday. 

The new Land Rover Discovery will be available on Thursday. 

A small SUV, the MG ZS, will come into the market on Saturday.
