CHENGDU, Feb. 13 (NBD) -- The Association of Beijing New Energy Automotives (ABNEA) is currently working on the new version of the detailed rules for the filing management of new-energy minibus manufacturers and products for pilot application, aiming to further regulate the filing of new-energy vehicles.

This year's first catalogue of recommended models for new-energy vehicle popularization and application will be soon released, said Zhao Jingguang, vice chairman and secretary-general of the ABNEA.

Quality and sales of new-energy vehicles will become the focus of assessment in addition to batteries, electric motors, and electronic control system as well as corporate integrity and services like the battery recycle and disposal ability.

In addition, an exit mechanism will be introduced. Dishonest new-energy vehicle manufacturers and products drawing lots of complaints will likely be removed from the list of recommended models, Zhao said.
