CHENGDU, Feb. 6 (NBD) -- The 11th China (Henan) International Investment and Trade Fair (CHIITF) is to be held on March 29 to 31, 2017, in Zhengzhou, Henan province.

Approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, CHIITF has become one of the most influential international investment and trade promotion events in China, with ten sessions having been held with great success. It is also a platform of great significance for Henan's further opening up to the outside world and implementing industrial transfer policies.

The 10th CHIITF had attracted 429 delegations and groups participating in the fair. Well-organized as it is, there were more than 20,000 domestic and foreign merchants from 86 states and regions attending the fair as expected. 651 domestic and international cooperative projects were being signed at the fair, with the total investment amount reaching 473.4 billion yuan (about 69 billion US dollars), all pointing to a new upsurge in the history of CHIITF.

Themed on "Opening, Innovative, Cooperation and the Win-Win Goal", the 11th CHIITF highlights its various events at state level with international influence, with enormous attention and resources have been put in an effort to carry out a series of national strategic plans so as to build Henan as a most economic province and Zhengzhou an opening inland city, while pushing forward the construction of China (Henan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, China (Zhengzhou) Cross-Border E-Commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone, and Zhengluoxin Self-Dependent Innovation Demonstration Area to proactively integrating into the Belt and Road development strategy.
