According to statistics released by Chengdu Customs, the total import and export value of the Chengdu Hi-tech Comprehensive Bonded Zone hit172.46 billion yuan (25.14 billion US dollars), which ranked third in the country and contributed 11.1% to foreign trade growth of Sichuan province. The total import and export value of the zone increased by 25.6%, accounting for 52.9% of that of the province and increasing by 9.6% over the same period the previous year.
