CHENGDU, Jan. 10 (NBD) -- China is to introduce active import policy, according to the "13th Five Year Plan for Foreign Trade Development" issued by China's Ministry of Commerce.

China will encourage the import of advanced technologies and equipment, key components and parts, stabilize the import of resource-based products. Measures will be reinforced to attract foreign investment and the general manufacturing industry will be more open to foreign investment.
