On July 25, Tesla CEO Elon Musk shared a video from Dongchedi's "Dongche Smart Refining Lab" program, specifically a highway test segment. He commented, "Due to laws against data export, Tesla achieved the top results in China despite having no local training data."

The program, launched on July 23 by Dongchedi, an automotive media and community application, evaluates nearly 40 popular models with assisted driving features, including Tesla, across 15 high-risk urban and highway scenarios.

However, Dongchedi stated their program is purely for public education on assisted driving functions and safety boundaries, aiming to boost safe driving awareness. A Dongchedi representative emphasized to National Business Daily (NBD) that they did not issue any official rankings from these tests.
