Li Auto announced on the evening of July 9 that the Li i8, a six-seater all-electric family SUV, will officially launch on July 29.
Previously on May 29, the company released its Q1 2025 financial report on the evening of May 29.
The report reveals Li Auto generated 25.9 billion yuan in revenue for the quarter, an increase of 1.1% YoY. However, this marks a significant 41.4% sequential drop from Q4 2024's 44.3 billion yuan. Deliveries in Q1 reached 92,864 vehicles, up 15.5% year-over-year but down 41.5% quarter-over-quarter.
Despite the typical off-season influencing Q1 sales, Li Auto's gross margin held relatively steady, experiencing only a minor dip. The Q1 2025 gross margin stood at 20.5%, compared to 20.6% in Q1 2024 and 20.3% in Q4 2024. Notably, this 20.5% figure still outperformed both Leapmotor and Xpeng during the same period.
In terms of profitability, Li Auto reported an operating profit of 272 million yuan in Q1 2025. This is a substantial improvement from an operating loss of 585 million yuan in Q1 2024, though it's lower than the ¥3.7 billion operating profit in Q4 2024. As for net profit, Li Auto recorded 647 million yuan in Q1 this year, up 9.4% year-over-year, marking its tenth consecutive quarter of profitability.
Regarding recent deliveries, Li Auto delivered 36,279 vehicles in June, a 24% decrease year-over-year. However, total deliveries for the second quarter reached 111,000 vehicles.
