On December 21, the 26th Harbin Ice and Snow World officially opened its gates, drawing tens of thousands of visitors who braved the extreme cold to experience the winter wonderland. Despite temperatures plummeting to -22 degrees Celsius, enthusiasm was undiminished as visitors queued outside the park from as early as 3 am, some even wrapped in blankets.
The standard adult ticket for this year's event is priced at 328 yuan per person, with a preferential rate of 240 yuan. According to Harbin Ice and Snow World, tickets for the opening day were swiftly sold out on online platforms such as WeChat public accounts, Ctrip, Douyin, and Meituan. In fact, adult tickets for the entire week have been completely booked.
The event's popularity has put significant pressure on local transportation. In anticipation, Harbin's public security traffic police department released a traffic guide, recommending the use of public transportation to ease congestion.
