Meizu Technology on February 1 posted on social media a photo of users who have already experienced the Meizu 20 series phone at the company's headquarters with caption saying "a number of users feel really good about the hands-on experience of the Meizu 20 series".

It is noticed that Geely's founder Li Shufu is among the users.

This means that the Meizu 20 series is expected to hit the market soon.

At the Meizu Meiyou Conference 2022 held in December 2022, Meizu stated that it has cancelled the Meizu 19 and would release the new Meizu 20 series in the spring of 2023. 

The product development is currently progressing well and the new series is in the testing phase before the mass production.
