On January 30, Baidu's shares rose by 2.2% after a decline of nearly 3% in the morning session on the Hong Kong stock market and ended the day with a 0.4% drop. 

According to media reports, Baidu is planning to launch an AI chatbot service similar to ChatGPT in China in March. This tool will allow users to get conversational search results and is positioned to bring "unprecedented changes to search experience."

ChatGPT is a conversational AI model launched by OpenAI on November 30, 2022. The model is user-friendly and can complete tasks such as answering questions, writing code, and creating text by simply inputting text requests. In practical applications, text AI like ChatGPT can help the text creation industry complete intelligent content generation and to some extent replace search engines. 

ChatGPT has caused a sensation in the AIGC field since its launch, attracting over 1 million users in just five days.

On January 23 of this year, Microsoft announced an additional investment of billions of dollars in ChatGPT developer OpenAI, becoming the largest investment in the artificial intelligence field in history.

In the future, with the further improvement of conversational AI performance, there is great application space in search, combining other AIGC tools to generate universe content, and other scenarios.
