The Chinese online entertainment platform Bilibili posted strong revenue growth in the third quarter (Q3) of 2021 on a fast-expanding user base.

The company notched up a total operating revenue of 5.21 billion yuan (about 816.6 million U.S. dollars) during the period, up 61 percent year on year, showed its financial statements released on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the number of its average monthly active users (MAUs) reached 267 million, representing an increase of 35 percent from the same period of 2020.

During the period, the company launched three games, acting as their exclusive Chinese agent. Its mobile game revenue totaled 1.4 billion yuan, up 9 percent, according to the statement.

The company expects its total revenue to be between 5.7 billion yuan and 5.8 billion yuan for the fourth quarter of 2021.
