July 5 (NBD) -- China Vanke Co., Ltd. (000002.SZ) signed contracts with a total building area of about 4.5 million square meters in June and contracted sales of last month stood at 65.63 billion yuan (9.92 billion U.S. dollars), the real estate developer announced Thursday.

In the first 6 months of 2018, the company's contracted sales increased 10 percent year over year to about 304.66 billion yuan (46.04 billion U.S. dollars), equivalent to the building area of 20.35 million square meters.

China Evergrande Group (3333.HK) reported Tuesday its contracted sales hit 304.18 billion yuan (45.96 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of 2018, up 24.6 percent year over year.
