July 2 (NBD) -- China Vanke Co., Ltd. ("Vanke", 000002.SZ) will not be a property developer but a service provider for people's good life ten years from now, the Chinese leading real estate developer's Chairman of Board Yu Liang said at the shareholders' meeting for the year 2017 held last Friday.

At the meeting, Yu also underlined the plan to remove the company's real estate nature. Although it remains unclear how much proportion the logistics, commercial and other sectors will take up in Vanke's future business landscape, yet one thing for sure is that Vanke is positioning itself as a quality life service provider, Yu noted.
