June 28 (NBD) -- China's leading manufacturer of video surveillance products Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd. ("Hikvision", 002415.SZ) entered into a strategic framework agreement with Foxconn Industrial Internet Co., Ltd. ("Foxconn", 601138.SH) to forge cooperation in industrial Internet, urban Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence and other areas.

The two sides will jointly build an ecological platform for industrial Internet, create comprehensive smart city solutions, and fuel the development of industries including smart factories, smart cities and smart logistics.

Based on their expertise in respective areas, they will explore the combination of industrial Internet and AI for videos, press ahead with the construction of demonstration bases for smart factories, as well as build up an ecosystem of industrial Internet.
