Lu Ming
China has a vast land area, and there will emerge several metropolis circles and city clusters in central and western China in addition to the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, and Bohai Sea Rim region, he explained.
The country's central and western areas have abundant natural resources, enjoying strong advantages in developing tourism, agriculture, and other industries related to natural resources, Lu added.
According to Lu, with the development of these fundamental industries, there will be an increase in population and job opportunities, and this will lift the demand for services like finance, trade, education, and healthcare.
When it comes to building industrial ecosphere, Lu said that governments should strengthen infrastructure construction and provide public services to eliminate market barriers between local areas, so as to bolster the industrial development. Meanwhile, efforts should be made to reform the household registration system and improve supporting services.
