CHENGDU, Feb. 23 (NBD) -- The new Management Methods on Automobile Sales, expected to come into effect this year, will give auto dealers more freedom to facilitate their business.

The draft exposure stipulates that dealers will no longer need to offer vehicle sale and after-sales services simultaneously, which means they can pump money previously for outlet construction into other business opportunities.

Meanwhile, a ban will be announced on auto manufacturers' much-maligned behaviors like overstocking request, tie-in sale, and restrictions on dealers' business scope.

The regulation, furthermore, will give a strong boost to the development of diverse vehicle sale models, including automotive e-commerce, and shared and resource-saving vehicle sale and after-sales service networks.
