CHENGDU, Jan. 13 (NBD) -- China's bio-industry size will reach 8 to 10 trillion yuan (1,161 to 1,451 billion US dollars) by 2020, according to the "13th Year Plan" on the development of bio-industry.

According to the plan, the added value of the bio-industry will account for over 4% of GDP by 2020, becoming the leading industry of China's national economy.
