CHENGDU, Dec.28 (NBD) -- The last round of retail fuel price adjustment in 2016 will be set off at the midnight of Wednesday.

The National Development and Reform Commission said gasoline price will be lifted by 100 yuan (about 14.37 US dollars) per ton and diesel prices by 95 yuan (about 13.66 US dollars) per ton starting Thursday.

Though America's interest rate hike has cooled down the international oil price a little bit, OPEC's deal to cut oil production is still driving it up.

After the rise, gasoline price in China will be lifted by 1015 yuan (145.90 US dollars) per ton in the whole year of 2016.
