
CHENGDU, Dec. 27 (NBD) -- China's State Council on Tuesday appointed the 46-year-old Yin Yong as vice governor of the People's Bank of China, replacing Guo Qingping.
Yin is a good hand at investment and management of foreign exchange reserves, and has been an assistant governor at the central bank since August 2015.
Yin holds a bachelor's degree in automatic control and business management and a Phd in system engineering from Tsinghua University as well as a Master's degree in public administration from Harvard University.
