CHENGDU, Dec. 21 (NBD) -- China's first unmanned metro is to start its operation next Wednesday in Hong Kong. The commencement ceremony was held on Monday.

This unmanned metro of Grades of Automation 4 (GOA4) is independently developed by CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles Co., Ltd. This breakthrough represents the highest level of mechanical, electronic, electric and controlling technologies applied in rail transit vehicles. It also embodies the world's leading self-driving technology.
