CHENGDU, Dec. 19 (NBD) -- The draft law to regulate and facilitate e-commerce in the world's largest e-commerce market was on Monday tabled for review by legislators at the bimonthly session of China's National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee.

The draft law identifies e-commerce running bodies, differentiates genearal e-commerce operators and the third-party e-commerce platforms. It also encourages cross-border e-commerce activities.

The draft law is aimed to facilitate e-commerce growth, help maintain market order and protect consumer rights.
