CHENGDU Dec.13 (NBD) -- LeSEE, standing for "super electronic ecosystem" as a subsidiary of LeEco, acquired last week a land of 900,400 square meters (222.50 acres) in Zhejiang Deqing Economic Development Zone for business use. The deal was concluded at 279 million yuan (40.43 million U.S. dollars).

The company's super auto plant in Deqing is second to its Faraday Future plant in Nevada U.S.. 

Suspicions that its Deqing plant construction plan was postponed as LeEco financial crisis broke out in November were made the headlines then. 

NBD correspondent acknowledged on Monday that initial geological survey around the plant site has been carried out as planned. Staff of Deqing Economic Development Zone said that everything is being implemented as scheduled.

According to Deqing government and LeEco, the official commencement ceremony is to be held at the end of December.

LeEco is expected to give a press briefing as to the fund-raising for its auto plant project also at the end of this month.
