On the sweltering afternoon of July 16th in Beijing, with temperatures soaring past 30 degrees Celsius, NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang was on a whirlwind tour.
In the morning, he made a striking appearance at the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) in a Chinese traditional Tang suit, greeting the audience in Chinese. By the afternoon, he was back in his signature leather jacket, giving an interview in Qianmen, beads of sweat on his brow under the blazing sun. After a long day, Huang revealed he'd fly straight home from Beijing because he "missed his puppies very much."
This marks Huang's third visit to China this year, with each trip separated by just three months. However, this visit was particularly notable: it was his first official appearance at a major Chinese government event, his first attempt at a speech in Chinese, and his first public wearing of a Tang suit.
The message of this China trip was crystal clear. Throughout his packed schedule, Huang fully conveyed a friendly stance towards China's entire industrial chain. He praised China's AI development and high-tech industries, met with prominent companies and discussed trending topics, and mentioned China's domestic AI chip manufacturers.
Beyond mere gestures, Huang brought concrete news: the return of the H20 chip to the Chinese market and the upcoming launch of the RTXpro GPU. Huang was forthright about NVIDIA's ambition, stating his hope for more advanced chips to enter China in the future. He emphasized NVIDIA's commitment to maintaining its development momentum in China, expressing his wish that NVIDIA's growth is "just beginning, not ending."

On China's Technology Ecosystem
Huang believes China's AI development is truly amazing, with remarkable progress in the model and application layers. He highlighted China's innovation and integration capabilities. In the model layer, players like DeepSeek, Alibaba, and Moonshot Kimi are top-notch. DeepSeek's open-source reasoning model is a breakthrough. It's designed for reasoning, requiring less computation per token. This efficiency enables multiple high-quality answers even with limited computing power, ushering in a new era of Agent AI. Huang also praised China's complex and advanced supply chain, which boasts a highly developed infrastructure and ecosystem.
On Chinese Tech Companies
Huang expressed admiration for many Chinese tech companies. He called Xiaomi a fantastic partner and expressed interest in buying a Xiaomi car. He also mentioned other companies such as Tencent, NetEase, and ByteDance.
Speaking of autonomous driving, Huang stated, "We don't manufacture autonomous driving vehicles, but we develop much of the technology that powers them."

On NVIDIA's Development in China
Huang emphasized NVIDIA's continuous expansion in China. With 30 years in the Chinese market, NVIDIA has grown significantly. Huang hopes this growth is just beginning.
The company plans to hire more exceptional Chinese engineers and professionals to drive technological progress and market contribution. Huang also mentioned the return of the H20 chip to the Chinese market and the launch of the RTX Pro GPU.
On Future Technology Trends
Huang believes that AI has become an infrastructure, just like electricity and the internet. He thinks that the new round of AI revolution will reshape all industries, and China is at the forefront of this change. Huang also proposed that AI development has gone through several waves, from perceptual AI to generative AI, and now to reasoning AI, with robotics technology being the next wave.
