On December 28, Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi, announced on social media that the Xiaomi SUV7 has achieved over 130,000 deliveries in just nine months since its launch, surpassing the annual target. Initially, the target was set at 70,000 units, which was gradually increased to 130,000 units. Lei Jun expressed gratitude for the support, calling the achievement "nothing short of a miracle" for a newcomer in the automotive industry.
Xiaomi has been committed to core technology investment, with over 13 billion yuan in R&D and more than 1,000 patents authorized. The company has made significant progress in areas such as autonomous driving and electric power systems. The cumulative smart driving mileage has now exceeded 100 million kilometers, placing Xiaomi at the forefront of the industry.
Xiaomi's official microblog stated that the company will expand production capacity to ensure delivery and has been continuously expanding its sales network, with 200 stores now open across 58 cities in China.
The Xiaomi SUV7, launched on March 28, is priced at 215,900 yuan for the standard version. By the third month of launch, the SUV7 had already delivered over 10,000 units. Lei Jun said on November 18 that the SUV7 had delivered over 100,000 units, achieving the annual target ahead of schedule. By December 1, the target for the year was raised to 130,000 units, with consecutive monthly deliveries exceeding 20,000 units.
Since its delivery began in April, the SUV7's monthly deliveries have been on the rise, with 7,058 units in April, 8,630 in May, and over 10,000 units each month from June to September.
At a technology conference on December 28, 2023, Lei Jun pre-launched the Xiaomi SUV7, positioning it as a C-class high-performance ecological technology sedan.
