On March 1, several new energy vehicle companies announced new car deliveries in February 2023. Despite the subsidy removal and Spring Festival holiday, sales of most new energy vehicle companies increased sequentially as expected in February.

Li Auto is quite confident in its delivery performance in the following months of this year. The carmaker's CEO Li Xiang said, "We (Li Auto) aims to get a share of 20% of the luxury SUV market in the price range of 30,000 yuan to 50,000 yuan this year. We expect our delivery in the first quarter to grow 64.0% to 73.4% to be between 52,000 and 55,000 units." In 2022, Li Auto accounted for 9.5% of the above-mentioned segment market.
NIO came second in deliveries among automotive startups, reporting both year-on-year and month-on-month increase in February delivery. NIO expects its car delivery in the first quarter of 2023 to be between 31,000 and 33,000 units, showing an increase of about 20.3%~28.1% from a year ago. This means that NIO's delivery in March has to cross the 10,000-unit mark in March.
