Feb.24 -- From Feb.20 to Mar.3, Sotheby's Hong Kong auctions 213 lots of spirits from Japan, Scotland, France, and China, including several cases of Kweichou Moutai, Japanese whisky, and Scotch whisky during its first online auction of spirits this year.

This batch of Kweichow Moutai includes the Kweichou Flying Fairy Precious Moutai 2022, Kweichouw Moutai Cira 1983-1986, Kweichow Moutai Flying Fairy 2017 and Kweichow Moutai Five Star Year of the Tiger 2022, etc.

Among them, the edition that commemorates the 10th anniversary of Macau's return to the motherland was estimated at 110,000 to 160,000 HKD/bottle（the highest）, according to Red Star News. 

It is learned is not the first time Sotheby's has auctioned Kweichou Moutai. In 2021, Sotheby's London auctioned 24 bottles of the 1974 edition Kweichou Moutai for a record-breaking 1 million GBP.
