July 12 (NBD) -- Chinese feed and pig producer New Hope Liuhe Co Ltd (New Hope, 000876.SZ) announced Thursday its Board approved to provide additional guarantee of 355 million yuan (53.2 million U.S. dollars) for 3 holding subsidiaries and 7 other subordinate companies.

Adding the increment, the total amount of guarantee provided by New Hope for its subsidiaries will not surpass 16.24 billion yuan (2.4 billion U.S. dollars) in 2018, equivalent to 77.93 percent of the company's net assets as of late 2017.
