July 10 (NBD) -- Chinese gold producer Shandong Gold Mining Co Ltd (Shandong Gold, 600547.SH) has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with Canadian miner Barrick Gold Corp.

The two companies are expected to forge collaboration in more fields leveraging technology and experience of both sides, and to study a potential partnership in the Pascua-Lama project.
