July 6 (NBD) -- Chinese acoustic components company Goertek Inc. (002241.SZ) said Thursday the company has played a part in optical, structural and hardware designing of Microsoft's new mixed reality (MR) platform as well as the manufacture of MR-powered devices.

To date, MR-based products available on the market include Samsung's HMD Odyssey. 

Goerteck also said its TOF 3D modules has been put into mass production. In addition, the company is partnering with domestic internet giants to develop smart audio products, including smart wireless earphones and smart speakers.
