July 5 (NBD) -- Anhui Conch Cement Company Limited ("Conch Cement", 600585.SH) said Wednesday that three clinker production lines of its subsidiary hasn't yet resumed production and the local government of Tongling city where the plants reside was coordinating with departments concerned to solve the issue.

The cement firm announced the temporary shutdown of these three production lines in May in response to requirements on environmental protection demanded by water conservancy authorities.

Conch Cement also clarified that its Tongling-based subsidiary didn't voilate any rule that could lead to the suspended production.
