July 3 (NBD) -- Chinese aero engine maker AECC Aviation Power Co Ltd (600893.SH) announced Tuesday its real controller Aero Engine Corporation of China (AECC) bought 2.3 million shares of the listed company through Shanghai Stock Exchange Monday.

The stake AECC holds in AECC Aviation Power has increased to 15.5 percent.

Besides, AECC plans to further increase stake in the listed company within 6 months with a total amount between 100 million yuan (15.04 million U.S. dollars) and 200 million yuan (30.08 million U.S. dollars).
