Hong Kong, Aug. 25 (NBD) -- Henry Fok Ying Tung Group Company Limited expects to collaborate with southwestern China's Chengdu on cultural creativity projects in the future, the company's President Eric Fok Kai-shan told NBD in an interview on the sidelines of the Promotion Conference of Chengdu Building a Cultural Creativity Center in Western China, which was held Thursday as a part of The Sichuan-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation Week in Hong Kong.

Every year, Henry Fok Ying Tung Group Company Limited will organize many cultural events and exhibitions, through which Chengdu can display its cultural strength, he said. Hong Kong can act as the platform to help Chengdu spread its traditional culture and introduce foreign culture.

With regard to urban culture construction and urban brand building, Eric Fok Kai-shan put forward three suggestions: first, supporting facilities for cultural promotion should be included in the stage of city planning, second, policy boost is indispensible to the development of the culture industry, third, education should be enhanced to enable the young generation to carry forward traditional culture.
