The Sichuan provincial government has this year allocated the Military Civilian Integration Development Special Fund to 147 Sichuan's projects including military technology R&D projects andmilitary civilianintegration industrialization projects, according to Sichuan Province National Defense Science and Technology Industry Office. 

The funded projects are divided into 7 types, aviation, aerospace, nuclear energy and nuclear technology application, military electronics, mechanical and electrical equipment, materials and chemicals, and civil explosive industry.

This is the first special fund of its kind in Sichuan that supports military technology R&D projects.
