CHENGDU, Feb. 9 (NBD) -- Changan Ford sold 70,238 vehicles in January, down 38 percent as compared to the same period last year, partly because of the tax cut on small cars.

Combined deliveries of the Ford Escort and Focus amounted to 39,642 units, accounting for 56.4 percent of the carmaker's monthly total.

Sales of the Ford Edge stood at 9,196 units.

This year, Ford is expected to launch five new models in China. They are the new EcoSport, new Fiesta, new F-150 Raptor, GT supercar, and C-MAX Energi.
