CHEGNDU, Feb.7 (NBD) -- The A-share market sees slight fluctuations at the first two trading days back from the Spring Festival, with Shanghai Composite first down 0.6% and then up 0.54%.

On Monday, HK investors sent 2.776 billion yuan (404.64 million US dollars) into the A-share market with 2.066 billion yuan (301.15 million US dollars) flowing to Shanghai equities, hitting record high since August 16 last year.

NBD also noticed that insurance stocks listed on the HK stock exchange was doing exceptionally well with average growth rate grow 3.43% and a net capital inflow of 2.75 billion HK dollars (354.5 million US dollars). China's stock market is opened to insurance funds, which helps raise the market sentiment towards insurance stocks.
