CHENGDU, Feb. 7 (NBD) -- Jaguar Land Rover on Monday began the recall of the 2013-2015 imported Jaguar XF cars due to potential fire risks.

Affected vehicles, manufactured between May 1, 2013 and June 15, 2015, may suffer oil leakage and trigger a fire accordingly under extreme conditions as there is not enough space between the fuel pipe and undershield and vehicle body.

Of those, 22,338 cars will be recalled in mainland China.

The carmaker will check the fuel pipe of affected cars free of charge. A replacement will be done if necessary.
