CHENGDU, Jan. 20 (NBD) -- Didi is expected to be the world's largest new-energy vehicle operator, Cheng Wei, founder, chairman and CEO of Didi Chuxing, said at the ChinaEV 100 Forum in Beijing last Saturday.

Car sharing and increasing adoption of new-energy vehicles will bring enormous opportunities to the company, Cheng noted. 

Didi expects to have more than 1 million new-energy vehicles available on its platform over the next five years.
